Their credo is violence...Their God is hate...and they call themselves 'The Wild Angels'
Roger Corman takes a very budgeted look at a small time biker gang. This southern California gang loves rumbles, motorcycle jousts, fighting Mexicans, booze, sex, and more sex.
It starts off with Blues(Fonda) going to see his friend the Loser about his stolen bike. The Angels are rounded up, and hit the road to Mecca( a small desert town). There the bike recovery doesn't go as planned and the Loser takes off on a police cruiser. He ends up getting shot and going to the hospital (before prison). The Angels decide to break him out.
While in the hospital, another Angel rapes a nurse. Still the Loser ends up dying. The Angels throw him a funeral to remember: Nazi Flags, Rape, Booze, Drugs, and the best yet, Dancing!
A lot of people look at this as the big brother to Easy Rider. The Wild Angels also features a bitchin soundtrack like Davie Allan and the Arrows. Nancy Sinatra is a knock out in this movie as well. Check it out! Where else can you hear a bunch of bikes roarin down the road and some awesome fuzzy instrumentals in the background? Plus dont forget all the hot mamas!
Erin and I went out last weekend and found some new signs! Two to be exact. To me its the "more the better." Some day i want to cover all the kitchen walls from floor to ceiling with random signs of diners, hot rods, etc. I guess ill wait till when we actually buy a house. Then i wont have to tear em all down when we move. Ive been there, and its not a good time. Not at all.
Heres a couple of ones i've had for a while
Erin got me this thing for Christmas. Its not a sign but a handmade print.
She also got me this. An anchor and beer!It definitely rules!
Im not sure how old this is. It was in a bar my grandparents used to own in West Virginny.
Erin also got me this old moonshine bottle. Not sure where it came from or the age.
I found this at a thrift store some time back.
Thses are some of the diner-ish things we got layin around our kitchen.
Last nite Erin and I went to see Blowfly, the XXX rated porno soul king! Back in the 70's he went by Clarence Reid. He had a couple of hits but nothing compares to what he does now. When he first came on he was pointing(his middle finger) at my girlfriend. He said she was his masterpeice. Now if that aint flattering i dont know what is.
Supposedly this was the first time he played as Clarence Reid in a northern state in over 35 years. Kinda weird that he did it at Now Thats Class, but hey nothing that happens there surprises me.
Then came the infamous Blowfly. Then came some strippers......from Bugsys. They were hired by the owner. If yer not from Cleveland you wont understand. Bugsys is the nastiest strip joint on the west side. The girls didnt even have boobs, but hey you gotta give em credit.....or do you? Fortunatly i didnt take any pictures of them.
I found this picture on the web. This woulda been one crazy show. I have a feeling every one left that show violated in some way!
Dirty Ugly records (usa) is going to realease my one man bands debut record. It not completely mine. It is actually a four way split . It has some very awesome bands on it, that are way better than me! So the fact that they chose me to have one side to my self was a big deal to me. I will have four songs on side A. Side B will consist of: Theee Bat, Skip Jensen, and The Fly and his One Man Garbage. Theee Bat is a 3, possibly 4 piece band from Japan. The Fly is a one man band also from Japan. Skip Jensen is from Canada(i think). It should be a good line up.
Dirty ugly records has also put out realeases by Invisible Mans Revenge, Ghosts Run Wild, Bloodshot Bill, and a slew of other rockers. They also are one of the American labels that sell squoodge records, hogmaw records, and the labels that Dead Elvis is on.
Theee Bat
The Fly and his one man garbage
Skip Jensen and Seb Normal
Other than that theres not too much goin on with me. I did some new drawings.
this guys name is Special Ed
another anchor
I also re-found this picture of me and a friend from 2007, at the Lakewood Zombie Walk.
Well this weekend has been full to the brim with music. Me and Erin started off the weekend with food then going to see Motorhead USA. It has members of Boulder and Midnite. Earlier in the week we went to see Rev. Deadeye at Now Thats Class. I think everyone left happy. Thats the kind of place that is hard to impress everyone there, but he did it!
So on Friday night we went record shopping before we went to the show. I found some stuff that ive been looking for. Then found some stuff im glad i didnt buy because i found it cheaper on Saturday!
So Saturday we wanted to go get breakfast. IHOP or Nicks Diner? Nicks won, and lucky we chose that. It was busy as hell in there so we went across the street to an antique store. Just as we were about to leave we went upstairs to check that out. Boom! a huge room full of records and books.
Some of the books i got
We went to two more antique stores. the first was awrite. I found a new record crate, where i can put two stacks side by side
Best picture ever!
The second store, Suite Lorainne, was the best yet! There were so many records it literally took us over an hour each just to look through most of the 45's. We found a ton! I got some Gene Vincent, Eddie Cochran, and a slew of rockabilly, doo wop,and some soul-ish stuff.
Then Finally breakfast! Yeah! So we ate, came home and had a mondo record party, and ended our weekend with a pizza!
