White Lightnin' (2009)

This is a movie loosely, very loosley based on the infamous Jesco White. It starts out showin off his huffin and drug abuse. Its full of some pretty cool violence, mostly self mutilation. I question a lot of it, but then again it is a movie not a documentary. Almost seems like the only true parts are based off of the Dancing Outlaw series, but who knows how they came across some of the info. I think the weirdest thing is that this is a movie made in the Uk. I thought Jesco was mainly a local hero and had no idea that he is world famous!


The whole part how his father died is wrong, and i really doubt he spent that much time in mental health wards. It showed too much fiction and not much of the truth. I can understand changing names and stuff like that. Killing.....it may be just me but i dont know how people can get away with adding that to the story while hes still alive.

If it wasnt a movie "about" Jesco, and instead about a random person i would love it. It was shot good and had a real creep factor to it but i already know too much for it to seem real and not a complete work of fiction. Overall it was cool to see but i would prefer a life story in the true nature.

I still havent seen the Wild and Wonderful Whites of West Virginia yet! I am really looking forward to it though. Im a huge Jesco Fan and have even seen him live before. So i hope it is as good as it seems.

Busy, Busy, Busy!

Man, ive had no free time in the past 3 weeks. Nearly everyday has been something goin on. So today im gonna knock this outta the way, watch some American pickers, drink some Pabst and hit the bed earlier than normal!


Got this sweet old bicycle mirror, put it on and hit the mean streets of Cleveland. Soon as i hit the streets the damn glass falls out and shatters! Waste of 2 bucks!




Some other cool stuff, not too good, but for the price they were a good find.






Even saw NoBunny again, i think for the 4th or 5th time. This time.....with silly string!





Even got my stupid self put on youtube......And i actually didnt do it myself!

street sale n junk shops! my kinda day

i got all sortsa goodies this weekend! Started it off with a street sale/BBQ . Then came the rain! So im guessin you can figure how that went down. Me and Erin decided what ever didnt sell with the exception of records, movies, guitars, and things that are actually worth money that we were gonna pack it up in my car and just donate it. I think i had 5 garbage bags filled with crap that i had to haul down the road and unload.


Now enough of my ramblins, lets get on with the good stuff!

Then we stumbled across this spot called Bruces Bargains. This was my second time being there and it was already goin outta business......50% off! Found some good records both times I've went though.




Erin picked this up for me at the street sale, knowin that im a huge Red Foxx fan.

Classic Blaxploitation at its finest! Leroy is just a young black guy lookin for some work. He can fight, and hustle, and thats about it. He comes across a mob of rich white guys who are into organized street fights. So of course he gets mixed up with them. He starts gettin more money each fight, and people start to notice.....cops! Now theyre wantin payoffs from him, but theyre tied in with his boss who aranges the fights? Cheap bastard! now he wants out. If he quits them theyre gonna get him!




The quality almost looks like someone just transfered their dubbed vhs copy straight to dvd. I actually found this at K-Mart on a box set of 8 Blaxploitation movies. They all rule. I think theres about 2 or 3 more i have to get to yet. So 2 fists up for this sleazoid flick!

Flesh Eater (1988)

For some reason this movie popped into my head today. Ive already seen it nearly 10 times, so im sick of watching it. So what do i do? I come home from my super horrid job as a bible printer and write about the movie!






A bunch of kids just lookin to "party down" come across an old burial plot. For some super strange reason he rises from the dead as soon as someone decides mess with his grave! Who coulda figured?! All these dirty kids wanted was some booze, pot, and some NOOKIE! But what do they get? Killed and turned into zombies!





Director and Actor Bill Hinzman was one of the original Night of the Living Dead zombies! so i find it super cool he was still into making these type of flicks over 20 years later. He still looked nearly the same. He even made an apperance in Cleveland at the Lakewood zombie walk a year or two ago. So I guess hes still goin strong!



He supposedly bites into a real pig heart that was used as a prop. I cant really believe thats real because why would they have one? Thats just what i hear so i figure i would pass it along for gossips sake.

Well, lets see here. nuthin too cool and exciting to report. I got added to the Jim Rose Circus at Now Thats clas on the 28th! so thats pretty rad i guess. Went record shopping yesterday got some new goodies!


I got this Wolfmen 7in. Cool rockabilly/ garage from the 90's. The record store owner says somehow its been sittin there for over 10 years, hence the title of this blog. Me and Erin swear we've never seen it there before but I'll take his word for it!'
